Last call to sign up for the TDD Holiday Show! Take the stage with us on Sunday, December 13, at 2pm, in a super fun, high energy show that will lift your spirits as we bundle up for the holiday season.

Sign up today so we can organize the rehearsal schedule and start rehearsing the weekend of September 26.

**If you have a child enrolled in youth classes, they will learn their dance during scheduled class time.

➡️ Reminder that rehearsals work around your schedule, and videos will be made to catch anyone up who misses a rehearsal.

If you haven't started dancing with us yet, no worries! You can still sign up.

👉🏼 Here are the details you need to know:

• "How can I be in the show?" - Anyone who attends classes at Tap Dance Detroit at least once a week can be in the show. Dancers will be grouped by level.
• "What does it cost?" - There is a $115 participation fee that includes extra rehearsals, videos of choreography for at-home practice as needed and 3 tickets to the performance. *NEW: If you perform more than one dance, it will be $20 per additional dance to cover rehearsal costs. :)
• "What about siblings?" - Participation for additional dancers in the family will be $55 and doesn't include additional tickets.
• "Where's the show?" - We are finalizing the venue to bring you the best experience possible!
• "What about rehearsals?" - Dancers enrolled in the youth classes will learn choreography during their classes, with possible bonus rehearsals as needed. All other dancers will learn choreography during scheduled rehearsals that will happen on Saturdays and Sundays, on dates and times that can work with everyone's schedule. There will be 2 in-studio run-throughs on the Saturdays prior to the show, plus a stage rehearsal at 11am the day of the show.
• Nervous about performing? - We got you. We will rehearse and rehearse and rehearse some more until you feel 200% confident to take the stage.
• Costumes will be simple and cost effective. More info on that will be sent once we complete the signups.

🥳 NEW DROP-IN CLASSES for adults! Let's gooooo.

It's a great time to add some more chances to dance! Check out the new classes launching:

• Yoga PLUS at TDD Ferndale on Sundays at 8:20am! Start the day off right with Sue. Move, flow, get empowered and feel fabulous.

• Basic Ballet at TDD Ferndale starts tomorrow, Saturday, 9/19, at 12pm. Get back to the barre and align yourself, while improving balance, strength and confidence in movement.

• Beginner Broadway Jazz at TDD Keego Harbor starts today at 6:30pm. Explore storytelling through expressive movement utilizing classic jazz technique.

• Beginner Broadway Tap at TDD Keego Habor starts today at 7:30pm. We dive into the fun world of storytelling through tap dance, the style seen in musical theatre productions and movie musicals from the Golden Age to contemporary hits.

• Line Dance is back at TDD Ferndale on Thursday, 9/24, at 7:30pm. No experience necessary! Join Michele in an easy-to-follow, fun and interactive class.

📢 Registration is open for the October-November Absolute Beginner Tap series! Learn to tap dance from the very beginning. Whether you've never tap danced before or are putting your shoes on after a long break, this series is for you.

🍁 Registration is open for November-December kids' classes! This session runs from November 2-December 17.

Dance classes give your child a fun, consistent way to build confidence, coordination, creativity, and skills they can carry with them beyond the studio. AND they'll have the best time!

✨ Are you an adult who's curious about dance in general and not sure where to start? Explore our drop-in options designed with new dancers in mind!

Try Absolute Beginner Jazz, Hawaii'an Hula, Broadway Dance Fitness, WERQ Dance Fitness or line dance class! All of these classes are accessible to anybody just getting started.

There's truly something for every body.
